Why is Map In Motion® necessary?
Because information isn't organized in a way that is marketable. Information chaos is confusion to the buyer and buyers never buy when they're confused. We remove the chaos so there is order - it's that simple.
Here' an anology; just like a puzzle, the "big picture" doesn't appear until the puzzle pieces come together. Each puzzle piece represent a slice of information buyers are hunting for in order to make a purchase decision. Now, complicate things by trying to assemble that puzzle on top of beach ball (instead a table's flat surface) - what would happen? The puzzle would be very difficult to assemble on a beach ball rather than a flat surface.
Fortunately, Map In Motion® provides a better way for putting information puzzles together - we deflate the beach ball (the chaos) so the puzzle is grounded on a flat surface. Next, we use oranization strategies that separate the corner pieces, edge pieces, center pieces, and sort them in to outcomes, maps, or movies . Then we assemble the puzzle and market the information effectively (the motion) to get a result (the outcome). A map shows how things relate to one another and all the associations. A map shows there are many pathways, and in some cases, it shows vulnerable pathways that might need to be created or blocked. As with most images, a picture is worth a thousand words and a movie is worth a million. We believe the internet world is speeding up because of the use of images/movies rather than words to communicate instantly, effectively, and with emotional impact. Pictures allow us to absorb information instantly and remember it indefinitely because our minds are highly developed in dealing with images. In our name, we use "map" because it represents who we are and what we're trying to convey.
Motion:
"Nothing happens until it moves". The word "motion" best describes that Map In Motion® leverages the power of action and momentum to get an outcome. From experience, organizing or planning alone doesn't make outcomes happen. Often times, the effort and actions required are not quantifies and the enormity most projects becomes overwhelming. But one thing is certain, nothing will happen unless there is action. In our name, we use "motion" because it describes who we are and to convey the message that organized and directed action produces results.
